Updates to The Garden
Greeting my fellow gardeners, it has been a while senses my last update. So, let’s start with how big the plants are getting with the recent heat waves, they have exploded with growth and fruits and veggies growing out of them. Started to add some additional calcium because the pepper planets were lacking from it and that is why the bell pepper had that brown spot on it. I have noticed that my pickling cucumber has started to produce and the same with all of pumpkins. I have also planted some potatoes from a bag from the store that started to bud.
As you can see the picture above with tomatoes, I added some netting to them to help support them and add some watering points in there, as well as try and automate feeding them more directly to all plants from a 55-gallon drum.
The plants are doing really well and some ready to be harvested while others continue to grow and develop into their fruit and vegetables and produce even more. I particularly like the picture of the pumpkin flowers it sort of makes me like I’m in a forest. The cucumber grew a lot in one week, and the same with the cherry tomatoes. Pumpkins are going to a while they should be ready by Halloween.
I have replanted the Habanero using the soil below based on a recommendation from a co-worker because the roots haven’t grown out the instill pot shape from once, they were planted. I broke up the root clump in hopes of them growing outward. Also, I have made some netting for the Tomatoes just for help growing upward, instead of into each other.
