Foxglove Excelsior

Foxglove Excelsior

Digitalis purpurea ‘Excelsior Group,’ commonly known as the Common Foxglove, provides architectural height to borders. This remarkable strain boasts tall spikes of pendulous, funnel-shaped blossoms in a lovely range of pastel colors, including pink, lavender, and white. The blooms display throats copiously spotted with maroon or purple, attracting hummingbirds and birds alike. It’s a biennial or short-lived perennial that self-sows freely and naturalizes well in the landscape
